American Wrench and Our Commitment to the Military

2010: AW honored fallen military heroes during Daytona Bike Week at the Broken Spoke Saloon, where almost 200 motorcyclists participated in a Moment of Thunder, by revving their engines in unison, so they could hear us in the heavens.  Learn more.

2013: AW surprised a disabled war veteran by rebuilding his motorcycle into a trike. Zakk Wylde joined us at the celebration by playing the Star-Spangled Banner from the rooftop of the American Legion hall in Tampa, Florida.  Learn more.

2015: AW partnered with William Shatner and mounted a nine-day motorcycle ride from Chicago to Los Angeles, working alongside The American Legion Riders to raise money for The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund.  This Fund provides college scholarship money to children of post-9/11 veterans who died on active duty, or have a combined VA disability rating of 50 percent or greater.  Learn more.
